I have 15 years of experience working with kids who have dyslexia and language-based reading deficits. In addition, I have helped design and implement reading intervention programs in two local private schools.
I address reading disorders using a variety of intervention strategies and all learning pathways (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) in order to enhance memory and learning. I teach children the skills they will need to be proficient in phonemic awareness, reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. My strategies help students to "crack the code" so they will be able to read increasingly difficult texts with greater speed, fluency, and expression.
